In Celebration of Lorraine E. Mitchell October 10, 2002
October 10,1937- May 9, 2002
The paths taken on this journey called life- sometimes straight, sometimes winding- merge and divide, providing moments to remember, to cherish, and to forever remain in our hearts and in our souls. On those paths taken honey, you wove such color into our lives and left us with a tapestry.
Oh such beautiful memories we all have of time-shared with you. The wonderful memories of you are tucked in our hearts, wrap us in comfort and bring us a special peace. As long as we breathe, you will always be a very important part of our lives. You will live forever in our hearts. We love you and miss you dearly. You will never be forgotten.
With tears in all of our eyes we saw you sinking. We watched you fading away as you suffered so very much in silence. You fought so hard to stay you faced your illness with so much courage, and kept on fighting until the very end. God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you, and whispered, “Come With Me”. So when we saw you sleeping, so peaceful from the pain, we could not wish you back, to suffer that again.
Lorraine today is your birthday. We honor you on your birthday, your never-ending love, your courage, your fight, and your strength. Until we meet again. Happy Birthday, honey, mom. We wouldn’t have missed it for the world
Lovingly remembered and sadly missed,
Jerry, Lori, and Sharon
